Much better, thank you!

Well, Our own Bizarro-Krypto Weet the pointer, has made a wonderfully fast recovery from whatever it was that was ailing him(we suspect sprained back-he's very athletic--usually--and does all kind of flips that a 6 year old probably shouldn't try).

Thanks for all the good wishes--they worked!

LOL! This is one of your best drawings yet, maybe the very best! I really think you're on to something here. You managed to give the dog a sincere and very appealing human grin while keeping the drawing believable as a dog. Well done!

how did you get into storyboarding?

(I got an anonymous comment, which may have been from you or someone else, but it was really nice and smart too..... if that wasnt you disregard this statement)

Marlo! No-haven't left any anonymous lately--always sign mine. Now I have to skip over & see...but if it's as adoring as I am about your drawings--it might as well be from me.
I'll tell you my thrilling life story over on your blog or in email.

-Eddie, Dave, Mauricio--thanks, y'all!

Eddie--it's the damndest thing: he really does smile like that--really! I shouldn't take any credit for it. But I will anyway.
-Dave--ha! You try and duck a scene, more like it! Don't worry, I'll be happy to hand this dog over(on paper)! ; )

What a beautiful sketch! It could fit right into the "Baby Weems" short!

god these are amazing. your blog is like a very groovy coffee table book without the 30's music. speaking of music - you would probably like The Hot 5's, and Sydney Bechet. they go great with these images...
