Nice drawing. If you know France Gall, you probably know the following blog already, but if not, check it out for everything '60s mod!

That's the haircut I always figured I'd do once I turned 40. Short and sassy. I've decided to wait till I'm 60. :D

This is absolutely wonderful! I had just written a MOG post about France Gall and was searching for photos of her when I stumbled on this.

Thanks for the link, David! I used "mog" as a search and found that site(after discovering your profile is un secret). Loved it!
My husband and I were having a ball watching the videos...got us all into looking up Chantal Goya, Hardy, etc. Boy, do I love youtube.

Have you seen the "World Of Kane" blog(there's a link on my other, 'Blackwing Diaries' blog to Kane)? He had some terrific entries on the girls of this era. Then there's my old pal Elinor/April March who really introduced me to Gall...they're such fun, so light and charming, Your entry on her is great!

My pleasure. It's not a secret, as it were--but I have this way of not realizing that not everyone can see the thought processes in my head. ;)

I just went to World of Kane now and saw that post on the Double Deckers... which struck me as odd since that's twice they've been mentioned to me in as many days.

Definitely fun. It's got that sort of addictive charm that keeps you wanting more. Luckily there's plenty of videos available on YouTube. I recall the day I first decided to look up France Gall on YouTube.

Three hours later I had to peel myself away from the computer.

Glad you liked the post!
