I'm done with posting cintiq drawings here for a while I think. This is a quick one drawn with a Copic marker. I put that tiny bit of color on in PS but that's it for digital with this one.
Noel: I just find that I miss the tactile feel and response of paper and ink (or pencil, or paint, or charcoal) materials...it's true that any "real" paper drawing has to be scanned to be posted but everything that comes before the scanning is another planet, art-wise.
One of the cool things about your cintiq drawings was that, to me at least, they had the look and feel of paper drawings. I'm not sure how you achieved that. But I'm glad to see you switch it up - this drawing is great! I like the look of the texture on your smooth line. And I love the splash of colour on the fruit.

Beautifully done!
why the move away from the cintiq? You have to scan back in for photoshop. Just curious
MMMMMMM, markers!
Juicy :D
I've been thinking the same thing lately. I want to go to traditional way for "ART".... Nice drawing! So deceptively simple, but full of trust.
Thanks guys!
