wow! great work on the tablet! i've tried drawing on one, but seems sooo laborious and unintuitive.... in any case, nothing comes close to the feel of a pencil on paper..so i pretty much stick to wood pencils for all my drawing work... ...for now that is! but after seeing your beautiful work, i'm tempted to give the tablet another go...
I've never had an opportunity to try the HP tablet, but I did get a tryout with the Motion Computing "Nomad" tablet with Mirage animation software (from Bauhaus Software) and it was pretty good. A little small for me , especially compared to the Cintiq , but I wouldn't mind having one as a portable digital "sketchbook".
The one I have my eye on now is the Axiotron ModBook , which is an adaptation of the MacBook to a tablet . Axiotron just added more sensitivity to the ModBook, so I'm really hoping to get my hands on one soon to take a test drive.

I've seen people walking around with those! Must be expensive!!
I have an HP Tablet too, Jenny! It's ace for Sketchbook Pro doodles between recalcs!
Kali--yeah--it's more than *I* can afford, I'll tell you that! Mine is borrowed. : )
I draw with a huge cintiq at work, so I'm spoiled with tablets...the screen on the HP seems tiny by comparison(and I guess it is, in fact).
Kevan--yeah! I'm really enjoying Sketchbook Pro!
You could always get one of these.
Mac ModBook
Hi Jenny! Thanks for the compliments in your other blog, Blackwing diaries. You have some amazing gesture drawings. Beautiful work!
Love the sketches!
Leo--when a guy draws & paints like you do, compliments are a given. : )
I really love your stuff.
Craig--thanks man! : )
love your animated character drawings!
