I've just finished Lady Antonia's book of the doomed princess-cum-Queen(very very good), but haven't seen the film. I think I'll go this weekend. Anyone else seen it? I'm an afficionado of costuming and period clothing(and, well, plain old periods of history--pretty much all of them)so I feel certain that at least will entertain me.

crinoline, corsets, caraco jackets, bodices, bustles, OH MY! I'm sure Sophia Coppolas new film should feed our appetite for period clothing which I too am quite fond of. Nice drawing by the way, I like the coiffure!

Sean: thanks too! "Abstract distortions"?...do you mean doing something to the drawing, or drawing abstractly? I just scribble away directly onto the screen(a Wacom Cintiq tablet). Generally I don't edit these things, just crop them and resize them so they're not too huge. ; )
I don't use any filter effects or anything like that, just two brushes. But perhaps I am misunderstanding your question--what did you mean? I'm curious!
Can't wait for Sophia Coppola's version of this story ... As always, love your drawings!
