This is Photoshop CS...I've never used Sketchbook Pro, though I keep meaning to try the demo. Ditto for Painter--I have a really crude, ancient version of that, but now I'm used to PS. I love your blog, btw.
Great doggies! Rarf! You must be a happy girl, living with these beautiful creatures.
It's cool to know you did these in photoshop. I'm finding that photoshop tends to square off the lines bit(on a pc with a tablet- no cintique for us at this time... sigh;) I wonder if it's the way our defaults are set? Will have to play around with that.~Arna
Outstanding dogs! All of your sketches feel very elegant. Maybe my machine's a little slow; all of my swooping lines end up hitching and skipping unless I swoop v e r y s l o w l y.
Hey Doodlers--thanks! They make me VERY happy--every day is a joy to get up and hang out with these guys, really. : )
Believe me, I can't afford a Cintiq--at home. It's plain old paper there...feels good, though. Sometimes! I admit I'm a bit spoiled with the ease of an "ink line" on PS with these brushes on the tablet.
Do you mean using PS that your lines lag? I hae that trouble too sometimes--not often fortunately; it's when the memory is screwed up/overloaded. The Cintiq tablet is terrific--the computer is not a gargantuan one, tho', and as you know image files tend towards the huge. ; )
kaicito---thanks! My gosh, that's a heavy compliment! I only wish! ; )
I have lots of inspiration from these two, every single day, and I've gotten used to drawing them as if they're right here when they're not. When you love something, it's easier to draw.
Just stumbled upon your blog randomly--awesome doodles! I like these dog ones especially, and look forward to checking out more stuff you're doing. Very cool work...

Holy Cow! I just stumbled on these dog drawings. They're great!
Thanks, Eddie! I admit I do like the back view of Weetie's twisted head(that's the pointer). They're quite a couple of nuts.
